Gérard Jacumin had been making Châteauneuf in his cellar since 1989 when his father Pierre retired from the business. But in 2007, at about the time their daughter turned 10, he renamed the winery L'Or de Line (a play on words for Laureline, and also a "gold line" or "golden row" in French). His idea was prescient (and somewhat projecting), as in 2019 she then began working next to her father.

Together, in the years since, they have put together a truly wonderful lineup of wines, farmed from their superb and organically-tended 9 hectares, of which nearly 25% are planted to the hard to find white grapes of the appellation.
